The Morgue Assistant game sounds like interesting, creepy fun. My son will like these ideas. He thinks he is too big to trick or treat but still loves Halloween. I am not into Halloween so no party at my house …this was always scary nightmare of shooting in my neighborhood in New York City. Thanks for the share.
I am not a fan of halloween at all, we do a little thing for the kids at our church but not sure if we are going to do anything this year, the older the kids get the more they want to hang out with friends. Oh these would add a lot to any Halloween party. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and now that my son is old enough to participate more we might do something like this. Great suggestions! This makes me excited for Halloween and it would be more fun to add a little scare.
I am not doing a party this Halloween. I will have to pass these ideas to my friend who is having one. These look like some great teen Halloween games. My daughter has an old ouija board we found at a thrift store. She loves to scare her friends with it, lol. People have died or almost died because of a demon from the other side because of Ouija boards. These games are not for teens as much as they are for little kids. Scary Story Circle: Lights out and flashlights in hand, create a circle with your friends. Ouija Board: Everyone loves a little fun with an Ouija Board! The easiest way is to use paper rolls. This game can be played both kids and adults. Make several groups or teams of players. The number of players in the group, of course, depends on the number of guests at a party.
So, the game is to win one of the teams. Bowling balls are actually small pumpkins. When a player gets hit, has the right to one more attempt to bowl a strike.
The grand prize conquers the winning team. Most children have trouble playing with toilet paper, but not in the traditional Halloween game called wrap the mummy. To play it, you will need many rolls of toilet paper. Group them all in a team of two. The idea of this game is that everyone has to wrap his partner or teammate comfortably from head to toe in toilet paper as quickly as possible. Make sure you leave the exposed faces to breathe more easily. Select an extroverted child to start or write some ideas and start ourselves.
Without the knowing of participants, record the narration of the story and then play it at the end. For fun: Turn off the lights and put a flashlight under the face of narrator while the narrator has its share of a ghost story.
You can use chairs or card tables to drape the sheets over and pin them against the wall to hang them in place, or you can use thumb nails or actual nails if you don't mind the holes in your walls make sure to get your parents' permission before doing this! You can also tuck blanket corners into window sills and curtain rods or shut them into doors. The more secure the better, as kids will inevitably tug at whatever walls are put up, and you don't want the tunnel to fall apart.
Setup a strobe light or some black lights to add to the spooky mood. Strings of pumpkin or skeleton lights also make great effects and help light the way in darker areas and corners. Stay away from fog machine effects as they can get hot and can cause breathing problems, especially when the fog stays low to the ground and that's where kids will be crawling around.
Safety Tips: Don't make dead ends or wrong turns in your scary maze, as you don't want kids getting lost, hurt or too scared.
